WHO WE ARE?
The Ward Academy Management first started in September 2019. We wanted to launch our own agency to give our children the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills further afield within TV, Theatre, Photographic and Commercial castings. At the start of 2021 we expanded our representation into adults.
THE WARD ACADEMY CLASSES
Our theatre classes launched in January 2016 in Worsley and have since grown to other areas in Middleton, Knutsford and Whitefield. Our classes are full of fun for all our children and offer the opportunity to learn the three specialisms of Acting, Singing and Dancing. Our classes are aimed at 3-16 year olds. Children who attend our classes will also be automatically accepted onto our agency.
Every year we offer our children the opportunity to rehearse and perform a show in a professional theatre. Our shows offer the children the opportunity to showcase the skills they have been taught in their acting, singing and dance classes. Our previous shows have been held at The Lowry Theatre.
Melissa Co-Founded The Ward Academy with her Sister in 2015. Our classes then launched in January 2016. Melissa is the Creative Director of The Ward Academy Ltd and also the founder of The Ward Academy Management Ltd. Melissa is a fully qualified teacher and teaches the acting and singing classes within the academy. Before she became a teacher she worked as an actress in the industry for over 15 years.
